The work of engineers impacts our daily lives, the consequences of which can be dire if not done correctly. That is why the Professional Code provides several measures to help the OIQ protect you.
In order to practice engineering, a person must:
- Be a member and registered on the Roll of the OIQ,
- Respect the rules and ethics of the profession, and
- Engage their professional liability.
