                                              <\/div>\n                                <\/div>\n                                <div class=\"col-12\">\n                                    <div class=\"ns-txt\">\n                                                                                    <div class=\"wysiwyg \">\n\t<p>In certain circumstances, although limited, we may grant a temporary permit to individuals who have completed their training outside of Quebec and who meet all the conditions, with the exception of the language requirements.<\/p>\n<p>This type of permit is <strong>valid for one year<\/strong> and may be <strong>renewed up to three times over a 48-month period<\/strong>, subject to compliance with OQLF renewal conditions and payment of applicable fees.<\/p>\n<p>Temporary permit holders must take the OQLF exam <strong>at least once a year<\/strong>. Passing the exam certifies that the language requirements have been met. In the event of failure, the temporary permit may be renewed at the discretion of the OQLF.<\/p>\n<p>We remind you that your temporary permit will not be renewed if you have not taken part in an OQLF French exam session within one year of its issue or renewal. It is the permit holder&#8217;s responsibility to register for an exam session via the OQLF portal. It is strongly recommended that you register at least three months before your permit expires.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<\/div> (OQLF) language evaluation is offered to candidates of Quebec&#8217;s professional orders. This <strong>free, three-hour exam assesses your oral and written skills in French<\/strong>. The same requirements apply to all professions governed by an order. The exam is standardized to ensure that all professionals practicing in Quebec have a sufficient command of the French language to offer their services in accordance with the law. of First Nations)<\/h2>\n                                                                            <\/div>\n                                <\/div>\n                                <div class=\"col-12\">\n                                    <div class=\"ns-txt\">\n                                                                                    <div class=\"wysiwyg \">\n\t<p>McGill and Concordia graduates must provide proof of proficiency in French, or pass the OQLF French exam. They are not eligible for temporary permits on the basis of language requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Members of First Nations communities can obtain a permit even if they do not meet the language requirements. This permit will only authorize them to practice on a reserve, in a settlement where an Aboriginal community lives, or on Category I and Category I-N lands as defined in the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement.
