You are finishing your bachelor of engineering degree program and will soon have your degree in hand. Once you graduate, you will have successfully taken the first and foremost step that will allow you to attain the status of engineer.

After all, to use the title of engineer, legally practice the profession and sign engineering documents, you must have an engineer's permit issued by the OIQ. Only people who have engineering permits and are registered on the roll of the OIQ are entitled to provide the many professional services reserved for the engineering profession.

Being a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is a privilege.

The Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is open to everyone. Its very high standards are recognized throughout Canada and in many other countries. Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec increases your professional mobility and gives you a better chance at being able to practice your profession wherever your career takes you.

Don't wait any longer, request your permit application form by clicking here.

Fill out the permit application form and return it to the OIQ Admissions department. If you meet all of the conditions, you will be granted the status of junior engineer. You will then be invited to register on the roll of the OIQ as a junior engineer and be able to sign "Jr. Eng."

In addition to being a major part of the network of expertise, you will benefit from other services, such as a free banking, a purchasing service for insurance, cars, cell phones and more offered by SERVIQ. You will also be able to invest in mutual funds administered by Gestion FÉRIQUE.
